Bifur-Braid

Triaxial Structures patented technology (U.S. Patent# 7908956, 8347772, 8794118) for bifurcating braids is now available. Based on standard maypole style braiding machines, this technology allows the isolation of braiding carriers into distinct groups that braid separately and then recombine to continue as a standard tubular braid creating an opening in the braid.

Fully programmable, the length and number of bifurcations for a design is essentially unlimited. From small to large openings, from adjoining openings to ones with large amounts of braid in between, using any material capable of being braided, if your application needs the capability to create openings in braids, Bifur-Braid technology can provide the answer. Currently being used in several medical applications.
